ENGINEERING DESIGNER Engineer
I-III)
Hopper Dennis Jellison, PLLC is always
looking for talented individuals with positive attitudes in all positions.
This position will be working under the direct supervision of a Professional
Engineer developing civil engineering construction plans. Types of projects
may include subdivisions, commercial, industrial, multi-family sites, or
public work projects throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Specific
duties will involve the design of:
- Potable and irrigation water systems
- Sanitary sewer (both gravity and pressurized)
- Storm drainage systems (Conveyance and treatment)
- Grading
- Street design
- Calculations and reports to support the above design elements
- Specification writing
In addition to these design responsibilities, this position involves meeting
and working directly with other design team members including design technicians,
drafters, surveyors, contractors, inspectors, public agency officials, and
clients. For the right candidate and with future licensure as a Professional
Engineer the position can develop into a project management position.
The minimum required qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor of Science degree
Preferred candidates will also have the following qualifications:
- Registration as an EIT
- Experience with Civil3D or other AutoCAD based design software
- Familiarity with AutoCAD

INSPECTOR - (Inspector I)
Desirable minimum 1 year of experience
Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience.
Duties: Inspect various construction
activities as directed by Project Inspector. Take tickets during operations
that require the collection
of
quantity tickets. Insure that materials incorporated into the project are
from an approved source (check with project inspector) and if stamped record
that data, collect paper work for material certification. Submit paperwork
to project inspector from the contractor for materials approval and other
documentation. Insure that the project is built in accordance with the standard
specifications, contract special provisions, the plans and other contract
documentation. Fill out daily IDR’s, provide data to project inspector
for monthly estimates. Other duties as assigned by project inspector. Contact
